Sheriff of Cochise

THE SHERIFF OF COCHISE was a contemporary police drama set in Cochise County, AZ. Stories seemed to be similar to HIGHWAY PATROL, emphasizing fistfights and car chases rather than gunplay. Tough Sheriff Frank Morgan was eventually promoted to U.S. Marshall and given the entire state of Arizona to keep under control (the series title would subsequently change to U.S. MARSHAL and remain in syndication until 1960).

Singer Stan Jones was the series creator but departed the show in 1958. A total of 156 episodes were produced under both titles.

Adventures of Wild Bill Hickock

The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok was a television series which ran from 1951 through 1958. It starred Guy Madison as the legendary cowboy, Marshal James Butler Hickok, and Andy Devine as his comedy sidekick, Jingles.

Judge Roy Bean

Western set in the Texas town of Langtry, named after Lillie Langtry. When storekeeper Roy Bean becomes fed up with the lawlessness in the town, he sets establishes himself as a judge and introduces a system of law and order.

Death Valley Days

Western stories and legends based, and filmed, in and around Death Valley, CA. One of the longest-running Western series, originating on radio in the 1930s. One of the hosts, actor Ronald Reagan, left his role to become Governor (then President). The continuing sponsor was "20 Mule Team" Borax, a product mined in Death Valley.

Annie Oakley

A fictionalized account of the life of legendary Wild West sharpshooter Annie Oakley. Set in the quiet western town of Diablo, Annie and her little brother Tagg made sure that outlaws who moseyed into town kept on going. Often at her side was friend, suitor and deputy sheriff Lofty Craig with whom she often showed off her shooting prowess. These episodes are Justice Guns & Renegades.

Roy Rogers Show

Fort Dodge Stampede

Outlaws took $30,000 from the Adams Bank, but one of them double crossed everyone and hid the money in old Fort Dodge, Nevada. As old Fort Dodge is out of his jurisdiction, Rocky takes a vacation there and finds that everything is owned by old Skeeter, who knows nothing about the hidden money. But the Pike gang is also in town looking for the money and Rocky wants the money and the head bandit. When settlers come to town, he devises a plan to catch all the bad ones and get the money back for the Adams Bank.

Corpus Christi Bandits

In flashback, Mr. Christi relates the story of his father Corpus Christi Jim. After robbing a stage, Jim and partners Rocky and Steve decide to go straight and return the money. But the fourth member of the gang, Spade refuses and leaves. The two former partners soon find themselves on opposite sides of the law.
